Gianna Maihofer is a current Senior at Purdue University. She grew up near Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives in Brownsburg, Indiana. After originally studying Computer Science, she changed her major to User Experience Design as she found that she enjoyed front-end work more than back-end work and also found that she could incorporate her passion for art into her career. Other aspects that drew Gianna to UX Design are collaborative teamwork and human-centered design. In her future career, Gianna hopes to work with teams to improve people’s interactions with technology and make it accessible to everyone, as well as help make aspects of people’s lives easier. Besides art, Gianna also enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
